“Thus Fate knocks at the door!”
—Ludwig van Beethoven

A deep look inside one of the most (in)famous pieces of music!

From its ominous beginning through to its triumphant end, Beethoven’s 5th symphony is an intricately-crafted, tightly-woven masterpiece! Conductor Warren Puffer Jones traces each thread of the music, demonstrating—with the help of the orchestra—why this music has such a powerful effect.

The concert also features excerpts from Beethoven’s Mass in C, featuring the powerfully expressive voices of the Tactus Vocal Ensemble.
